About Therapy
Personalized Attention for All Your Needs
Our therapists use Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles to work with children on learning functional ways to communicate, socialize, and learn new adaptive skills. ABA is a scientific approach, focusing on how behaviors are impacted by the environment and what motivates your child to learn at their best because each child is unique. Therapists implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to your child by the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). They work in the home, center and out in the community, working with the families as well as other peers and adults outside of the home to promote socialization skills.
Our therapists receive 40 hours of training on ABA principles and evidence-based practices, undergo a background check, receive on the job training, obtain CPR certification, and pass the national exam to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician for the Behavioral Analyst Certification Board (BACB). RBTs operate under the direct supervision of the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) and Board Certified assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA).
